From 14 to 21 May, the Lãnd - Wool Innovation Week was held in Manteigas, Portugal.
Lãnd is the land of wool, the place of shepherds, sheep and landscapes where nature and humans live in harmony. It is the unique territory where Manteigas is located, in the heart of the mountain.

But it is also the land of innovation and creativity focused on this local resource with unique characteristics in the world, the wool of the Serra da Estrela and Churra Mondegueira sheep breeds.
The programme of this special week included the presentation of the results of the Eu4shepherds project. Shepherds are the key elements in promoting the use of wool, a sustainable endogenous resource produced according to the principles of the circular economy.
